Merry Christmas 2021

First things first. Let's talk the 2021 Hanson Family Christmas card.  Matt put the card together this year and ordered it. Aaaaand he forgot Vivian's name.  Yup. He remembered the dog and the pig but forgot the daughter. Viv was the first one to notice, so she ordered herself a white paint pen and added her own name to the card. No problem's too much for that girl! A couple of days after I mailed the cards out, I started getting texts. The first day I got nine texts from friends that were absolutely dying!! They all said the same thing, "ummm, did you actually forget Viv's name on the Christmas card??!" And my reply was always the same, "ummm, no. I did not forget Viv's name. The person that made our cards forgot her name!!"  She owns him for life now...and they both totally know it. Now onto the rest of the Christmas holiday... New York City 2021

We had the best time in NYC! Unlike most of our vacations we didn't have a lot planned out. We had one dinner reservation and the tickets for Wicked, but other than those two definites, we just wanted to take in the city, which turned out to be the perfect plan. The Christmas lights, store fronts and markets were fabulous and the food was amazing! Who knows what our future Christmas' will look like with Maxwell graduating this year, but regardless, this NYC trip was one to remember... Our best attempts at the "Home Alone" face Maxwell met us in NYC from school so Matt made him his own picture Night 1... Dinner at Becco, Times Square and Rockefeller Center  Day 2... Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Central Park, Rockefeller Center, dinner at Bond 54 Day 3... Mass at St. Malachy (The Actors Chapel), lunch at Kung Fu, Bryant Park Christmas Market,  Stranger Things, pizza! and WICKED Day 4... The kids went to The High Line, Washington Park, and the West Village... we all meet
