Happy Air Force Birthday

Last weekend Matt and I celebrated the 72nd birthday of the United States Air Force at Eglin's Air Force Ball. It certainly was much different than Air War College's celebration last year - there was no pre-party or after-party, no Oceans 11 sunglasses theme and no 2-day hangover (I have to say I'm thankful for that one!). It was fun though - good, clean Air Force fun where we were home and back in pajamas by 10:00pm. How quickly one year and one assignment changes everything!

Been a little busy over here in the Florida Panhandle. Florida Send Off

A day on a boat, an impromptu dolphin show and a Camp Pinchot sighting. We didn't exactly plan it that way, but that's how our last Florida Saturday happened. Turned out those were three of our favorite things about living here. It turned out to be a perfect Florida send-off.  She looked a little lonely, but the memories made us all smile
