Covid Confession

Henry’s been asking me to buy thinning shears for his hair because it is out. of. control. He doesn’t want any of us to cut it but he wants it to be thinned out.

Covid confession...I bought thinning shears on Amazon for dogs because the human ones would take to long to be delivered. There’s probably no difference, right??!

Florida Farewell

Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint.  Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though.  I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled.  Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Like us, they just need to be strong for the season.  Eglin AFB, Florida  1 June 2023
