Dirt Jesus
A few weeks ago Vivian had an art assignment to create a portrait of Jesus out of mud. She was super excited about it and worked really hard on it.
I give you...Dirt Jesus.
I give you...Dirt Jesus.
Here's the thing though. Dirt Jesus was made weeks ago but none of us could bring ourselves to throw him away. He just followed us with his eyes around the house. We'd move him from one tabletop to another...always looking...always watching. Eventually, I took him to the kitchen thinking maybe if I left him by the door it would be easier to "accidentally" throw him away. That didn't work. He just stared at us from the kitchen.
Finally, last week Maxwell did it. With great hesitation, and most likely a confessional prayer, he put Dirt Jesus in the trash.
Dirt Jesus...this is what quarantine memories are made of.
