21 Years Strong

Two weeks have past but here are a few pictures from our anniversary weekend. We took the jet ski out by ourselves and watched a beautiful sunset with Viv.

21 years, 3 kids, 9 military assignments and countless laughs. Life hasn't been perfect but it's been pretty darn good and I wouldn't change a single thing. Here's to the next 21!

Florida Farewell

Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint.  Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though.  I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled.  Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Like us, they just need to be strong for the season.  Eglin AFB, Florida  1 June 2023
