Texas Trip 2020

It had been 7 months since I saw my family in Texas so Vivian and I made the 11-hour drive last weekend. It's hard to be away for so long, for so many reasons, but one of them is that sometimes when you're gone for so long, going back seems ten times harder. Change is more apparent when you're gone for such a long stretch. It doesn't mean that change doesn't happen though. Regardless, it was good to be home. It's always good to be home.

In San Antonio Abby was super excited to see us. Haha!

But meeting this little girl for the first time was the highlight of our week!

Vivian got her birthday wish...she picked out her first guitar with Uncle Eric

Was even lucky enough to see the Garcia girls!

Too bad we never have any fun together :)

Hopefully, it won't be so long before we're back home again...
