Texas Road Trip 2021

By the number of pictures I have you'd never know that Viv and I were in Texas for an entire week! We did more than celebrate Parker and her first birthday and Shane and his arrival into the family but....wait...did we do more than that?! Regardless, even if we just spent this one day in San Antonio, it would've been worth it. Nothing compares to being with family!


I just don't know that I could love her anymore than I already do!

Florida Farewell

Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint.  Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though.  I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled.  Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Like us, they just need to be strong for the season.  Eglin AFB, Florida  1 June 2023
