Colorado Or Bust

Two days after Henry graduated from Collegiate, he and Maxwell headed off for their summer in Colorado. Matt went along for the two day drive and to get them settled in and then came back home for pack out and the big move. More on the move later...

For now...here's Colorado!

Florida Farewell

Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint.  Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though.  I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled.  Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Like us, they just need to be strong for the season.  Eglin AFB, Florida  1 June 2023
