Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint. Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though. I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled. Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Been a little busy over here in the Florida Panhandle. T-minus 15 days and we'll be back in the "right-side up" world!
