Been a little busy over here in the Florida Panhandle. T-minus 15 days and we'll be back in the "right-side up" world! Nope. It's not that one ;) Henry has officially announced his retirement from lacrosse, and by "officially" I mean he told Matt and I. For him to play here in Florida, it would mean that he'd have to join one of two school teams that plays high school lacrosse and Collegiate isn't one of those two schools. He'd be playing with kids he doesn't even go to school. For Henry, the choice was easy. He's done being the new kid in town. He's made good friends at Collegiate and has a social life and he doesn't need lacrosse to fill in any holes. So, there it is. He played his last high school game as a freshman, earned a Varsity letter and best of all, finished it on the field with his big brother. Those are great memories that he'll always have and a TON to be proud of. As (selfishly) sad as it makes me to not see Henry play lacrosse anymore, it makes me a thousand time happier to see him totally buy in to CrossFit. He's been at it since ...
