Belated Birthday Surprise

Aunt Kiley and Uncle Eric won the Belated Birthday Gift of the Year Award! Thanks a lot guys...this makes the Kitchen Aid hand mixer we got Viv for Christmas last year look like childs play! Joke might be on y'all though. She's never going to remind you of her birth date again!! 


Homemade tortillas were first up...she really is my little mini-me!

And yes! They were as good as they look!!

Florida Farewell

Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint.  Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though.  I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled.  Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Like us, they just need to be strong for the season.  Eglin AFB, Florida  1 June 2023
