Archangels Lacrosse

Lax season is back!! Saint Mary School has started their first girls lacrosse season and guess who their starting (and only LOL) goalie is?! 


Viv is so excited for this! Not only is she playing with her friends, she's part of the first program, which is such a big deal for her. The first goalie on the first SMCS girls team! 

And the icing on the cake is that she rocked it in the net. She had 9 saves for 13 shots on goal in an Archangels 11-4 win!!

Florida Farewell

Our last sunset in Florida didn't disappoint.  Honestly, it wasn't an emotional farewell though.  I always felt like our time in Florida was fleeting. As a family, we transitioned the kids in and out of the house over summers, and in and out again. In two short years we transitioned through different schools and jobs and friends. These last two years especially, I felt like a transient. Never quite settled.  Now, it's time to settle. I'd like to plant some roots, even if they aren't deep and forever at our next assignment. Like us, they just need to be strong for the season.  Eglin AFB, Florida  1 June 2023
