Two travel weekends back to back to see the boys has my heart full! Only 35 more days until we're all under one roof for Thanksgiving!! Three of the four roommates Alabama watch party... hungry, college kids aren't playing around when it comes to homemade food!  Fourth quarter rally!! Fourth quarter rally didn't work... RC 522! So proud of these boys!! Off to PA Maxwell's senior year and he and Premo introduced me to "running the bases"... I was unprepared for it!!  Rider Park  I'll miss fall trips to PA... RACE DAY at Gettysburg College I've never seen Maxwell so happy and content after a sports competition... he's definitely found his place! Battlefields of Gettysburg This was right next to Gettysburg College and the race trail...not a bad place to run Viv and I even squeezed in a homeschool history lesson! 

Years ago it was “Quote of the Day”. Now that the kids are older we’ve evolved to “Text of the Day”. Some days it’s too hard to pick just one… And not to be outdone...from Maxwell... I have no idea where they get their  senses of humor from, but I know I like it!!

Everyone has been asking lately about how Henry's doing. Is he making friends? Liking his roommates? Enjoying classes? Staying healthy?  I think it's safe to say that Hen is living his best Bama life! RTR!!

I got this in my inbox yesterday and it was the best feeling!! I've been donating blood every 8 weeks for about a year and a half now and this was the first time I was notified that I was a perfect match for someone in need. Given what happened the day that I donated, getting this email was even more special. It's kind of a long story though... The morning that Matt and I went to donate, we had walked three miles beforehand and it was super hot and humid outside. I had some water and a quick breakfast when we got home and then we left for base. We always donate at the mobile bus and that day it was at the BX on Eglin. I went in first, and because we didn't have appointments, I was done before Matt was even hooked up. I told him that I was just going to wait for the him in the BX. I started walking across the parking lot and had a quick chat with the Firestone Tire guy and right as he and I passed each other I started to feel weak. Two weekends ago we went to  Camp Helen State Park  in Panama City Beach and it was so cool! The state park has one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida, so you get the best of both worlds - kayaking on a lake and swimming in the ocean. We pretty much had the place to ourselves and will definitely be back!  It's been interesting to figure out what weekends look like with just the three of us, but we're making it happen. Fingers crossed Viv doesn't get sick of Matt and I anytime soon!! Hanson Party of Three
